Amy Hutchings is inspired by the everyday and overlooked, creating hand-drawn, hand-printed art and unique lampshades.

 

With a strong, hand drawn, graphical quality unifying a diverse range of subjects, she has an eye on the trends and her hands on the squeegee, printing what she sees; using colour as her pencil and the world as her muse.

 

Always living near water, she finds the colours, smells and ever changing patterns of the river and sea fascinating.

 

A recent move back to Bristol has sparked a new body of work, adding to her growing portfolio of hand printed, limited edition silk screen prints.

 

Amy is passionate about the traditional processes of drawing and hand-printing and loves to be engrossed in making new work.
